In 2008 soundmindsFILMS won Best Student Film at the 2 Days Later Film Festival at the Theatre Royal Margate. 'Booth d76' was directed by Peter Dexter (right ) and the film starred Robert McLanahan who was also nominated for Best Actor, Simon Crimp (left) and Anabel Claro. It was a was a tale of torture and redemption set in a dystopian future. The film was shown at the Theatre Royal Margate.

Sound Minds film 'Gene Splice' was shortlisted for the SciFi London Festival 48 hour International Film Challenge 2010 (top 12 out of a field of 57 films) and shown at the Apollo West End.

sound minds FILMS won the Dalerush Workshop Film Competition in 2010, and with it, permission from the Royal Horticultural Society to make a film at the Chelsea Flower Show. 'Bernard the Bee goes to Chelsea was selected for screening at The Rob Knox Film Festival 2011.

Other films have had nominations for Best Special Effects:The Dia del Motor 2009, Evil Zombie Killer Girls 2010  2 Days Later Festival.
