The Sound Minds art studio is a welcoming place to explore your visual ideas while learning new skills, supported by experienced artists. No previous experience necessary!
The group meets on Tuesday afternoons 12.00pm – 5.00pm (full details).
There is group on Fridays 2.00pm – 5.00pm, for Wandsworth residents experiencing mental distress. Referral for this group is primarily through social prescribing by GPs, but if there is capacity then normal Sound Minds referral routes also apply.
The art studio includes drawing, painting and printmaking facilities, with artists also exploring collage and mixed media processes.
With the support of the group, studio members have gone on to study at art schools and further progress into adult education. The group also organises regular exhibitions in our new gallery space (The Bloom Gallery) and takes part in wider community events such as the Wandsworth Arts Fringe Festival.
