Remote support

Sound Minds continues phone contact and support to around 150 people already known to our services. 

Please ensure that we have your most up to date contact details!

New referrals for our services are welcomed for people living in Wandsworth or other South West London boroughs.

Our calls offer

  • Continuing public health and personal advice about the virus.
  • Updates on the status of Sound Minds and Canerows services and an introduction to online services as these become available.
  • Help to cope and adapt to isolation and the absences of the community services that used to offer face to face support.
  • Ensuring that you have sufficient food and resources in isolation and organising help if you don’t.
  • Bringing you up to date on other services you may use and may access such as foodbanks, advice, online help etc.
  • Supporting you in the style that suits you and agreeing the frequency of contacts.

Online arts services

  • Sound Minds Community Choir via Zoom.
  • One to one tuition in singing and instruments via Zoom.
  • Youtube tutorials.
  • Support in getting started with video communication.
  • Peer support inreach to Springfield and Queen Mary’s Hospitals via Skype.
  • Music inreach to the Shaftesbury Secure Unit via Skype.
  • Music Collaboration via Soundtrap.

Wandsworth Foodbanks are no longer allowing visitors and are operating a delivery service. Sound Minds can refer you, but please note there is great pressure of demand, so please only request if you have tried all other options.
