coral hines


Coral works at our local drop in Mama Lows Kitchen and is a Peer support Worker. She is also on the Steering Committee and is a founder members of Canerows, improving mental health services for people from BME backgrounds locally. She is a cultural diversity trainer and a Ward Visitor for Canerows and Plaits. Coral writes songs and sings with the Channel One Band and was a star of the documentary film of the band 'The Day We Danced on the Moon', shown at the Berlin Film Festival in 2011.

devon marston


Devon is a founder member of Sound Minds and Canerows and also assists with music sessions and the drama project the 'Theatre of Visions'. Devon started off as a musician (with 70's lovers rock band the Investigators) and is also an actor, having perfromed in the West End show 'Black Heroes in the Hall of Fame'. Devon regularly speaks out about mental health. His TV appearances include,  BBC 2's 'Newsnight', Channel 4 News, BBC 1 News and Shifts films for Red Nose Night



Paul is a founder member of Sound Minds and has been CEO since 2003. Paul began as a guitar player for afro pop band 'Chisza!' before working for the NHS as an occupational therapist and group analyst and managed a Community Mental Health Team. Paul plays guitar and bass, makes films and is a qualified teacher.



Eden is the brains behind our web site and brings the full weight of his BA in Business Information Technology and MSc in Internet and Database Systems to bear on our humble plot in cyberspace. Hobbies? Football
